With the SaniTower you simplify the reprocessing of semi-critical medical devices. By means of immersion procedures, a practical application can be carried out.

According to § 8 of the Medical Devices Operator Ordinance (MPBetreibV), the reprocessing of ultrasonic probes (Urology / Gynaecology / Obstetrics) has to be carried out with suitable validated procedures.

In 2020, the RKI stated that the wipe disinfection of semi-critical ultrasonic probes is not valid.
The BfArM has concurred with this professional assessment.
